SCC"LAW" PROBONO LEGAL CLINIC

SCCLA offers a monthly free legal clinic in San Gabriel, California.

*Assistance in Cantonese/Mandarin/English.

This event is co-sponsored by the Asian Pacific American Legal Center, Asian Youth Center, the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, and the Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles. 

Litigants will be able to meet with licensed attorneys and obtain legal information on a variety of legal problems in English or Chinese, including Mandarin and Cantonese.

We very much need volunteering attorneys and Chinese-language interpreters (law students and/or community members).  Litigants generally have questions in the areas of family, immigration, business, employment, criminal, and real estate law.  We also see needs in estate planning, probate, bankruptcy, and consumer law areas.  There are also few litigants that have questions regarding Intellectual Property rights or international law (dealing specifically with China or Hong Kong), etc..

When:

Every third Wednesday of the Month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
