The Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers Alliance (APAWLA) presents:
APAWLA MCLE* - Demystifying How to Start and Maintain a Successful Solo Practice
Have you ever considered starting your own law practice but didn't know where to begin? Do you want to learn strategies and practical tips to help build your solo practice? Are you feeling overwhelmed by trying to raise a child or children and/or remain actively involved in other volunteer/bar association activities while maintaining your solo practice? Do you know where to find free or low cost resources to start or enhance your solo practice? Do you want to learn how to start your own public interest law firm and create your ideal dream job?
Please come and hear from three APA women who have decades of combined experience as solo practitioners. They will discuss their own practices in the areas of criminal defense, immigration law, and civil rights/education law, and will share practical tips and strategies so that you can walk away feeling ready to start your own practice or build your current solo practice.
