SCCLA is an authorized MCLE provider. AS part of our commitment to develop and improve the legal skills of our members, this past year SCCLA along with the other local Asian bars sponsored a two-day trial advocacy program that included lectures and demonstrations by seasoned trial attorneys and judges, followed by mock trials which allowed each of the participants to actively employ the techniques and skills learned through the program. SCCLA also held or co-sponsored several substantive law seminars on topics such as land use, tort arbitrations and immigration law.
