We support programs that help minority lawyers fully participate in the mainstream, such as the California Minority Counsel Program. We are committed to strengthening our ties to other local minority bars and are active in the Multicultural Bar Alliance (MBA), a joint committee comprised of sister minority bar associations – APABA, JABA, KABA, PABA, MABA, Black Women’s Lawyers and the John Langston Bar Association. Last year, SCCLA supported an MBA Reception honoring Judge Terry Hatter and also supported the newly-formed Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
